1. Who we are

This website is operated by Smart Vehicle Dealerships LLC, the authorized distributor of Lynk & Co vehicles in Jordan, located in Wadi Saqra, Amman, Jordan ("we", "us", "our"). We are responsible for the personal data collected through this website and through our sales, marketing and customer service channels in Jordan. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

2. What personal data we collect and why

We only collect what we need for these purposes. We don't ask for sensitive data such as health, religious, or financial information through this website.

• When you contact us or submit a form (test drive requests, quote requests, contact forms), we collect your name, phone number, email address, city, the model you're interested in, and any message you send. We use this information to respond to you, arrange test drives, and follow up on your inquiry.
• When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone call, SMS, or social media message, we collect your name, phone number or account name, and the content of your messages. We use this information to respond to you and manage your inquiry. If calls are recorded: Calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes. You'll be told at the start of the call.
• When you manage your inquiry with us, we record which channel you first contacted us through, the status of your inquiry, and whether it led to a purchase. We use this information to understand which of our channels serve customers best and to improve our service.
• When you agree to receive marketing, we use your contact details to send you news, offers, and event invitations by email, SMS, or WhatsApp. You can opt out at any time (see Section 9).
• When you browse our website, we collect technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and how you arrived at our site. Some of this is collected through cookies and advertising pixels (see Section 4).

3. Our legal basis for using your data

We process your personal data based on:

• Your consent, for example when you submit a form, message us, or accept marketing communications or non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Taking steps at your request before a purchase, and fulfilling a contract with you, such as arranging a test drive, preparing a quote, or completing a vehicle sale.
• Complying with legal obligations that apply to us in Jordan.

4. Cookies and advertising pixels

Our website uses:

• Essential cookies, which the site needs to function.
• Analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors use the site.
• Advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and Google Ads. These let us measure how our ads perform and show relevant Lynk & Co ads to you on those platforms. The platforms may combine this data with information they already hold about you, under their own privacy policies.

Non-essential cookies and pixels are only activated if you accept them through our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

5. Who we share your data with

We don't sell your personal data. We only share it with:

• Service providers who help us operate, including our CRM, our WhatsApp Business provider Infobip, our SMS provider Zain, website hosting, and advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google). They process data only on our instructions.
• Lynk & Co (the brand), where needed for warranty, vehicle registration, recalls, or brand-level reporting.
• Finance, insurance, or registration partners, only when you ask us to arrange these services.
• Authorities, when required by Jordanian law.

6. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in Jordan and with our service providers. Some of our service providers, such as Meta, TikTok, and Google, may process data outside Jordan. Where data is transferred abroad, we do so in line with the requirements of Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law and take reasonable steps to protect it.

7. How long we keep your data

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized.

• Inquiry and lead data: 24 months after our last contact with you.
• Customer and sales records: as long as required by Jordanian law.
• Marketing data: until you opt out.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls and secure systems. No online system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as Jordanian law requires.

9. Your rights

Under Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law, you can:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law.
• Object to or restrict certain uses of your data.
• Withdraw your consent at any time, including for marketing. You can reply "STOP" to SMS or WhatsApp messages, or use the unsubscribe link in emails.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We may need to verify your identity first. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority in Jordan.

10. Children

Our website and services aren't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If we learn we have, we'll delete it.
